Dialogue on our reporting
Natural environment: stakeholder dialogue
As part of its stakeholder engagement program, each year MOL organizes a roundtable discussion on the topic of the environment with its relevant stakeholders (such as environmental authorities, national parks and green NGOs).
The aim of the so-called "Green Forum" is to get feedback on both MOL Group’s environmental performance and sustainability reporting. An important part of the conversation is the material assessment of the reporting practices of MOL. This event also serves as a sort of assurance of the sustainability report content in terms of environmental issues. MOL takes into account the findings of this event during the following reporting period and during further development of the SD website, and also gives feedback about action taken since the previous roundtable.
Detailed information can be found in the minutes below (available only in Hungarian).
Stakeholder engagement: employees
Every year, the executive management of European Workers' Council (EWC) - together with MOL experts - analyses the HR related Sustainable Development (SD) information published in MOL Group Annual Report and on the web page regarding their relevancy and credibility.
Sustainable development expert roundtable
Roundtable has been organized every year since 2009.
SD experts from MOL Group and SD professionals from representing external stakeholders (such as universities, NGOs, businesses and consultancies) have a chance to analyze and provide feedback and MOL Group’s sustainability performance and reporting practices. MOL pays special attention to the recommendations raised at stakeholder events and most of these recommendations are implemented during the next reporting period, and incorporated into the development of the SD website. Each year MOL also gives feedback on the actions taken since the previous roundtable. The high professional level but friendly roundtables are very useful for all participants involved.
